Anyone else going to the Ariellah this weekend over in Mississippi or am I the lone wolf? lol
If ya'll aren't going.. Sonya, Shawn or Joyce.. Anything you want me to keep an eye out for and grab for you while I'm there?
I'm not sure who all they have vending but I heard possibly some of the Black Lotus Clothing and some of Ariellah's perfume oils.
Let me know if so and I'll keep and eye out and get for ya if I see it : D

Mon, January 28, 2008 - 6:14 AMHi Denise. Can't speak for Joyce but I know I am not going and Sonya isn't as far as I know (I think she would have mentioned it by now if so). Thanks for the shopping offer! I am not 'needing' anything I can think of, more like I am not needing to spend any $$$, right now with my dance dollars going towards Joyce's workshops and the upcoming Tribal Pura, but the offer is sure nice.
You have a great trip over there and lots of fun overall. You will have to tell us how you liked it at the workshop.

Mon, January 28, 2008 - 6:50 AMNope, I'm not going either. March is going to be crazy busy for us with Ren Faire and workshops so I'm trying to keep February a bit quiet!
Thanks for the shopping offer! The perfume oils sound nice, but I've been buying too much lately what with Desert Dancer pants and stuff on swap boards! :-)

Mon, January 28, 2008 - 10:18 AMOh yeah, that is also when Joyce's Tally Raks event is scheduled, on Saturday anyway. So some folks could already be planning that for themselves. I have some folks from my line dance class coming over Saturday to use the studio so I am staying close to home for that too, besides the already mentioned reason for not going off. So if you are not going to Ariellah's workshop, try to make it to Tallahassee. This will be Joyce's final Tally Raks since she will be moving to - gasp! - Alaska before the year is out. -

I always have this knack of timing lol
The henna sounds like fun, would be awesome to have someone else do mine for a change and actually get my right hand done for once.
Using my left hand it never matches my left haha
I'm with ya'll also, I have a tshirt budget maybe depending how much the gas and food runs : P -

Mon, February 4, 2008 - 7:30 AMDefinatly fun and I loved the drills. I can see those being useful no matter what style you do.
Some of the combo's were pretty interesting. The Vampire with A.D.D was a cute combo.
My biggest beef was the lack of rest stops between Mobile and Hattiesburg.. lmao
I think I know how the little town we passed that is in between them and a ways off got it's name.. Leakesville : P
