Ok, I know it's another cross post, but I just wanted to send a warm and very appreciative thank you to Joyce for coming all the way from Tallahassee to put on this weekend's workshop, and to DJ for opening her studio and home up for the workshop. I know Candy and I not only learned a lot this weekend, but came away with a slew of questions and things to review at our next lesson with Shawn. (All I can say is, it's a good thing Shawn is as patient as she is.)
I can't say thank you enough for the warm hospitality and the great instruction! I really appreciate it!

I guess I should also say thank you to Sonya for staying in my eyesight. I know I told Shawn, but I don't think I ever told you, Sonya. For the last two workshops if I couldn't see Joyce directly, I made sure I was able to keep you in eyesight so I would know what to do. (dang it, I just lost sight of Joyce - but wait I can still see Sonya!) Plus, DJ and the ladies in her troupe were kind enough to help Wendy and me when we were working in partners.
It was definitely a great workshop! -

Small confession, I don't like store bought twinkies, and was worried what the homemade ones wold taste like, but they were FABULOUS! SO good I might be tempted to try to make them, and I DO NOT COOK!

Most people are shy about getting in the front row, but I'm not so if there's a spot open near the instructor, I take it! I also enjoy getting to be Joyce's demo girl! Makes me feel like the lovely Carol Merill! [And no one under 35 has a clue what I'm talking about! :-) ] -
